Material y Métodos: Enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño observacional analítico y cohorte retrospectivo, utilizando una muestra de 322 mujeres. Resultados: El maltrato infantil, en especial el abuso emocional y físico, está significativamente asociado con el embarazo adolescente, aumentando la tasa de incidencia en un 5,9% y 6,8%, respectivamente. Además, se encontró que las adolescentes con embarazo tenían un inicio sexual más temprano (14,84 años) y menor uso de anticonceptivos (85,28% no los utilizados). A nivel educativo, el 69.04% de las mujeres con embarazo adolescente no fue preparado en la secundaria. Conclusión: El maltrato infantil es un factor de riesgo importante para el embarazo adolescente, destacando la necesidad de intervenciones educativas y de planificación familiar para prevenir este fenómeno.
