A través de la evaluación de las funciones evaluadora, sancionadora y supervisora de la municipalidad, se determinó que, aunque se alcanzó un cumplimiento general del 63%, existen áreas de mejora significativas. En la funció n evaluadora, no se realizaron las evaluaciones ambientales de calidad del aire y ruido como se había programado. En cuanto a la supervisión, se cumplió en un 90.7%, aunque solo se supervisaron establecimientos comerciales formales, dejando de lado a los i nformales. Finalmente, en la función sancionadora, se destacó la atención a denuncias ambientales, pero se careció de un procedimiento de sanción formal. Las recomendaciones incluyen el fortalecimiento del presupuesto para fiscalización, la expansión de la s inspecciones a establecimientos informales, la mejora del sistema de denuncias y el cumplimiento de las evaluaciones ambientales planificadas. Este estudio resalta la importancia de optimizar los recursos y estrategias para lograr una fiscalización ambie ntal más efectiva en el sector comercial de Yanahuara .
