description El presente trabajo enfatizó como propósito general, determinar la relación de la gestión contable y la toma de decisiones en las empresas ferreteras del distrito de Abancay para el año 2023. Por lo cual, se optó por una orientación cuantitativa, correlacional, direccionada hacia un diseño ceñido en lo no experimental. Además, como parte de la muestra participaron 61 ferreterías, cuyos representantes completaron dos cuestionarios elaborados para la indagación. Conforme a los hallazgos, la prueba de Pearson indicó que la gestión contable se asemeja de modo directa y favorable con la toma de decisiones, sustentada en valores de r=0,895 y p=0.000. Además, las dimensiones de la gestión contable: sistema de costos, control contable y calidad, evidenciaron una relación significativa (p<0.05) con la toma de decisiones, presentando valores de r=0,814; r=0,821; y r=0,786, respectivamente. Se concluyó que, a medida que las compañías dispongan de apropiada información contable de las transacciones financieras, la efectuación de decisiones mejorará.
