description Este artículo tuvo por finalidad establecer la vinculación entre el control interno y la ejecución presupuestal en la Municipalidad Provincial de Urubamba, Cusco en 2023. En el aspecto metodológico, fue cuantitativo, básico, con un alcance de correlación y diseño no experimental analizado transversalmente; la población la constituyeron los colaboradores de la institución en estudio, considerando por muestra a 40 empleados. Para obtener los datos, se empleó la encuesta y el análisis de documentos, teniendo al cuestionario y ficha de análisis de documentos como instrumentos. Los resultados demostraron que; en la institución, la ejecución presupuestal tiene relación significativa con el control interno (Rho=0.756), con las medidas preventivas preliminares (Rho=0.745), con las medidas preventivas simultáneas (Rho=0.715), con las medidas de revisión posterior (Rho=0.705) y con las estrategias de implementación de Control Interno (Rho=0.690). Se obtuvo como conclusión que la ejecución presupuestal y el control interno de la Municipalidad Provincial de Urubamba están significativamente correlacionados.
