The title of the present investigation Poor storage management application based on the 5S methodology in the labor productivity of the production area of the company Distinction E.I.R.L., a work was carried out with a population of 21 workers and productivity reports were analyzed and financial of the company, the investigation was carried out in the city of Arequipa. The type of correlational research was used, under the non-experimental cross-sectional design, the techniques for data collection were observation and interviewing, and the instruments were a check sheet and an interview guide, the research area is Industrial Engineering, and the research line is quality of production processes.The results show that Storage management application based on the 5S methodology is deficient, and has a direct influence on productivity, given that the number of orders prepared per hour of workers has decreased for the year 2019 and the downtime has It was triple compared to the year 2018, which is due to breakdowns, disorder and little space in the warehouse, it is concluded that the influence is negative.With respect to the hypothesis, taking into account that the cost and occupation of storage have increased significantly for 2019 compared to 2018, and that in January of June the productivity goals have not been achieved, the hypothesis is accepted of research: Poor storage management application based on the 5S generates a decrease in the level of labor productivity of the workers of the company Distinction E.I.R.L.
