La metodología empleada es de alcance correlacional y enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental. Se realizó la recolección de datos usando una encuesta que se aplicó de manera virtual que contenía ítems cerrados. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 76 visitantes al Santuario Nacional del Ampay. La variable Senderismo, muestra como resultados que los visitantes en un 59,2% es poco adecuado, para el 30,3% es adecuado, el 6,6% es inadecuado. El 2,6% indica que es muy adecuado y se tiene que un 1,3% indica que son muy inadecuadas las Condiciones para la Práctica del Senderismo en el Santuario Nacional de Ampay, provincia de Abancay 2021, teniéndose en cuenta que el Senderismo es una actividad turística en desarrollo que requiere que las Áreas Naturales cuenten con la protección y manejo adecuado con Construcciones que respondan a Diseño de Senderos como parte de procesos de Planificación a favor de la satisfacción de los Visitantes. Así mismo se presentan propuestas y recomendaciones que tienen la finalidad de contribuir al fortalecimiento de la gestión turística y que las actividades de Senderismo que se vienen encaminando en el Santuario Nacional del Ampay permitan su fortalecimiento y dinamización.

Data collection was carried out using a survey that was applied in a virtual way that contained closed items. The sample consisted of 76 visitors to the Ampay National Sanctuary. The Hiking variable shows the results that 59.2% of visitors are not very suitable, for 30.3% it is adequate, and 6.6% is inappropriate. 2.6% indicate that it is very adequate and 1.3% indicate that the Conditions for the Practice of Hiking in the National Sanctuary of Ampay, province of Abancay 2021, are very inadequate, taking into account that Hiking is a tourist activity in development that requires that the Natural Areas have the protection and adequate management with Constructions that respond to the Design of Trails as part of the Planning processes in favor of the satisfaction of the Visitors.
