Se trató de una investigación de tipo básica, de nivel Correlacional –descriptiva y con un diseño no experimental, transversal, retrospectivo porque el estudio se realizó sin la manipulación de las variables. La población estuvo conformada por 235 trabajadores de diferentes regímenes de la Municipalidad Provincial de Coronel Portillo, que incluyó una muestra de 32 trabajadores. Los resultados la hipótesis general se concluye que: Existe relación entre el Desempeño Laboral y el cumplimiento de la Ley del Código de Ética de la Función Pública en la Municipalidad Provincial de Coronel Portillo, 2023. Demostrándose que existe un bajo conocimiento de la Ley objeto de estudio.
