description La presente investigación se realizó en el Centro Histórico de Lima, Perú, con el propósito de diseñar un centro comercial tipo strip mall que revitalice el área mediante la integración de actividades comerciales, culturales y recreativas, respetando su contexto histórico y urbano. El proyecto incluye tiendas anclas, patios de comida, servicios financieros, estacionamiento y un museo de sitio conectado mediante plazas y patios para fomentar la interacción comunitaria. Además, se abordaron seis categorías de diseño: territorial, funcional, estético-formal, tecnológico y de sostenibilidad. El enfoque metodológico incluyó la evaluación de las condiciones del sitio, el cumplimiento de normas vigentes y la aplicación de estrategias arquitectónicas sostenibles. Los resultados obtenidos proporcionan parámetros arquitectónicos aplicables a proyectos en contextos históricos, tomando en cuenta contribuir al desarrollo sostenible, la preservación patrimonial y el dinamismo urbano en áreas históricas.
