Dado que las heurísticas han demostrado ser una manera confiable de generar este tipo de pruebas, esta investigación se enfocará en el estudio de técnicas aplicables a casos de testing para implementar un sistema de mutation testing basado en técnicas heurísticas más fácilmente automatizables y fiables, orientadas a la verificación de programas.En la especialidad de Ingeniería de Software existe un campo de estudio denominado de pruebas o testing, el cual permite determinar si un software no presenta errores o bugs que lleven al funcionamiento no deseado o inestable de un programa elaborado.
