From them, the elements that can be replicated are rescued considering the existing limitations both in the district, as well as in the simulation. Finally, a proposal is made from the combination of initiatives taken from countries with high recycling rates. This proposal is transferred to a simulation model to demonstrate that a significant improvement is achieved.

Primero se realiza un diagnóstico de las condiciones actuales del sistema en cuestión para identificar las oportunidades de mejora seguido de una comparación entre modelos exitosos a nivel mundial. De ellos, se rescatan los elementos que pueden replicarse tomando en cuenta las limitaciones existentes tanto en el distrito, así como al momento de simular. Finamente, se elabora una propuesta de mejora a partir de la combinación de iniciativas extraídas de países con alta tasa de reciclaje para fomentar una mayor participación por parte de la población.
