Descripción
Sumario:The present work aims to carry out an intervention process that strengthens the pre instrumental skills of lite racy in children between the ag es of 5 and 8 years old from a psychological center, under the constructivist perspective. The sample was composed of 5 children from Lima Metropolitana, that came from private educational institutions and who have problems in the development of their learning skills, especially in visoperception, phonological awareness and grafomotricity. The abilities worked on were grapheme phoneme identification, alphabet letters recognition and hand eye coordination when drawing respecting the visual limits. The sample was detected through a semistructured interview with parents and with the application of questionnaires to the educational institution, as well as with the use of psychometric tests. The implementation was carried out through an Intervention Plan complemented by a Checklist and a Workbook. Progress was evaluated by comparing the results obtained from the first Checklist in each case with the last one applied. All in all, there is an increase in the proposed learning skills; however, it can be concluded that the factors of age and working time also made a difference in the achievement of this outcomes
