El trabajo analiza también si los criterios de conexión establecidos en el derecho internacional privado peruano son adecuados, modernos, eficientes y si brindan previsibilidad y seguridad jurídica a los negocios con ordenamiento jurídico extranjero. Para ello estudia la esencia de la ley y la interpretación doctrinal sobre el tema y examina el modo como los operadores del derecho aplican la norma de conflicto.
