The quantitative research used a sample of 39 students of Electrical Engineering of the Continental University enrolled in the subject Research Workshop I, who were selected by non-random convenience sampling and then classified into experimental and control groups. It is concluded that the use of the educational software improves the students’ learning, detecting superiority in the scores obtained and notable progress in the elaboration of the thesis project.Este artículo presenta los resultados de la implementación del software educativo denominado Sistproy en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes universitarios de las asignaturas de investigación a partir de la elaboración de la matriz de consistencia y matriz de resultados orientados a la formulación de proyectos de tesis del tipo básico, aplicado y tecnológico. La investigación cuantitativa utilizó una muestra de 39 estudiantes de Ingeniería Eléctrica de la Universidad Continental matriculados en la asignatura Taller de Investigación I, quienes fueron seleccionados mediante muestreo no aleatorio por conveniencia y luego clasificados en grupo experimental y grupo de control. Se concluye que el uso del software educativo mejora el aprendizaje de los estudiantes detectando superioridad de los puntajes obtenidos y notables avances al elaborar el proyecto de tesis.Este artigo apresenta os resultados da implementação do software educacional chamado Sistproy no aprendizado de estudantes universitários de disciplinas de pesquisa a partir do desenvolvimento da matriz de consistência e matriz de resultados orientada para a formulação de projetos de tese de tipo básico, aplicado e tecnológico. A pesquisa quantitativa utilizou uma amostra de 39 estudantes de Engenharia Elétrica da Universidade Continental inscritos no Workshop de Pesquisa I, que foram selecionados por amostragem de conveniência não aleatória e depois classificados em grupos experimentais e de controle.
