Finally, it was found that, in the cases studied, thecontext determines whether what the Inter-American Court says is applied or not.La presente investigación apunta a conocer la manera en la que la Corte Interamericana deDerechos Humanos afecta reformas jurídicas y constitucionales en los países latinoamericanos. Se busca comprender qué elementos son importantes para que se presenten las reformas. Además, se plantea que, para que estas reformas se lleven a cabo, es requerida la conjunción de movimientos con conocimiento del sistema interamericano y un contexto estatal favorable en al menos una de las ramas tradicionales del Estado.
