However, in May 2022, the Plenary of the Congress approved the so-called “Bill that reestablishes university autonomy”. In this sense, the interview seeks to analyze and evaluate the meaning and consequences of such project in the Peruvian educational environment.Hace aproximadamente ocho años, fue promulgada la Ley N° 30220 o Ley Universitaria, la cual buscó promover el mejoramiento continuo de la calidad educativa de las instituciones universitarias y estableció a la Superintendencia Nacional de Educación Superior Universitaria como el ente supervisor. Sin embargo, en mayo del 2022, el Pleno del Congreso aprobó el llamado “Proyecto de Ley que restablece la autonomía universitaria”.
