La versión extendida incluye a otros cuatro autores, entre artistas y arquitectos, que espero publicar próximamente.The relationship that Peruvian women and men have established with the desert has changed over time. Much of this relationship is reflected in the footprints they left on this sandy territory, which make us reflect on the worldview of the ancient Peruvian to the nature-desert relationship of the current inhabitants of the coast of Peru. This research suggests that the understanding of the endearing link between Peruvian society and the desert landscape occurs through art. The keys offered by this manifestation have something to say. The landscape is therefore potentially a canvas for different artistic manifestations and symbolic constructions of the Peruvian desert territory. The main case study will be the work of Emilio Rodríguez Larraín titled The Clay Machine.La relación que la mujer y el hombre peruano han establecido con el desierto ha cambiado a lo largo del tiempo. Gran parte de esta relación es reflejada en las huellas que dejaron sobre este territorio arenoso, que nos hacen reflexionar sobre la cosmovisión del peruano antiguo hasta la relación naturaleza-desierto de los habitantes actuales de la costa del Perú. Esta investigación plantea que el entendimiento del vínculo entrañable entre la sociedad peruana y el paisaje desértico se da a través del arte. Las claves que ofrece esta manifestación tienen algo qué decir. El paisaje es pues potencialmente un lienzo para diferentes manifestaciones artísticas y construcciones simbólicas del territorio desértico peruano.
