Thus, he postulates an answer in cosmopolitanism as the evolution of democracy and solution to current social phenomena.En la actualidad, la tradicional concepción de democracia ha perdido su vigencia y, por tanto, su característica función legitimadora y tuitiva de derechos, producto de la transformación de las comunidades, el desarrollo tecnológico y los diversos problemas sociales existentes.En el presente artículo, el autor analiza las fuentes históricas de la democracia, su validez y sus requisitos buscando darle una resignificación a su concepto.
