description El problema de investigación radica en describir y clasificar el tipo de problemas que encontraron los jueces de Lima durante el período 2017, al momento de ejecutar los laudos arbitrales emitidos en el Perú. Dichos problemas son relevantes porque afectan la eficacia del laudo y la eficiencia delos procesos arbitrales, los mismos que, como vía alternativa al sistema judicial, deben ser especializados y céleres. Se plantea como hipótesis de trabajo que dichos problemas son multicausales, en la medida en que son generados sea por prácticas arbitrales inadecuadas, por un exceso de «garantismo» durante el proceso judicial de ejecución o por un uso abusivo de las partes del recurso de apelación durante el proceso de ejecución del laudo.
