description    Objective was to determine if there is a relationship between the level of knowledge about correct ergonomic postures and the perception of postural pain in dental professionals. Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out. The study population was 66 general and postgraduate dentists (n = 66). The variables were sex (female / male); years practicing the profession (2-20 years); Symptom history (pain / tremors / tiredness, fatigue / paraesthesia) area of the body affected by the symptom (lateral neck and shoulder area / back of the neck and upper back / mid-back / lower or lumbar area of the back / elbow / forearm / wrists, hands, fingers) Instruments Standardized Nordic Questionnaire13, to measure the knowledge of those investigated, the B.H.O.P (Balanced Human Operating Position) is taken as the base criterion. The statistics were made using a database from the Excel 2010 and SPSS 25 programs. Pearson's Chi square test was used and the Spearman Correlation test was applied for the correlation of variables. Results: it is determined that there is no relationship between the level of knowledge between ergonomic postures and the perception of postural pain in dental professionals, the level of knowledge according to the BHOP questionnaire is the average level 59.1%, and the anatomical areas with the highest prevalenceof pain were the dorso-lumbar area and hand-wrist with 65.2%. CONCULSION: It is determined that there is no relationship between the level of knowledge of ergonomic postures and the perception of postural pain in dentistry professionals.

CONCULSION: It is determined that there is no relationship between the level of knowledge of ergonomic postures and the perception of postural pain in dentistry professionals.
