Saliva was changed and the teeth were put in contact with gel and varnish fluoride at different periods of time (2, 24, 26, 50, 52 hours). The molars from the control group receive no treatment. Data from measurements of pH and calcium absorption (CCa) were collected from the artificial saliva of each group at different periods of time, in contact with lactic acid and with both fluorides, weight was also measured. This data was analyzed through ANOVA (p < 0, 05) and the Tukey test. Results: The contact with lactic acid produced a great loss of calcium that decreased notably with two different fluorides used, without a significant statiObjetivo: Evaluar la acción de remineralización entre dos tipos de fluoruros sobre la superficie de esmalte dental. Materiales y métodos: Los molares estuvieron divididos aleatoriamente en 8 grupos, de los cuales 7 grupos experimentales y un grupo control. Cada molar de los grupos experimentales fueron tratados en contenedores estériles con saliva artificial y ácido láctico por un periodo de 48 horas. Luego los dientes recibieron aplicaciones de flúor gel o barniz según el grupo al cual pertenecían, en diversos periodos de tiempo (2, 24, 26, 50 y 52 horas), en los cuales también se cambiaba la saliva artificial de los contenedores. Los molares del grupo control no recibieron ningún tratamiento. Datos de pH, absorción atómica de Calcio (CCa) se recolectó de la saliva artificial de cada grupo en los distintos periodos de tiempo. El peso de los molares también se midió. Los datos fueron analizados posteriormente mediante ANOVA (p < 0,05) y Tukey.
