In this context, addressing the reality of adolescents in conflict with the law is essential, despite the existence of various laws and programs designed to protect their human rights. Although significant progress has been made in the regulatory framework, many adolescents still face a justice system that sometimes perpetuates cycles of violence and social exclusion. In addition, programs aimed at serving this population often lack adequate resources and a comprehensive approach. The lack of monitoring and evaluation of these initiatives limits their ability to generate a positive long-term impact. Therefore, the objective of this article is to carry out a critical analysis of the regulatory framework and the available statistical data, in order to effectively address the needs of adolescents in conflict with the law. To what extent are current policies aligned with the social realities faced by minors? What role does the community play in the reintegration of these adolescents and how can more useful collaborations between different sectors be fostered? This approach will allow us to move towards a justice system that promotes not only responsibility, but also reintegration and personal development, thus contributing to the construction of more just, peaceful and empathetic societies. Resulta imperativo discutir sobre los fenómenos que afectan a la sociedad, más aún cuando se trata de personas en condición de vulnerabilidad. En este contexto, es primordial abordar la realidad de los adolescentes en conflicto con la ley, a pesar de la existencia de diversas leyes y programas diseñados para proteger sus derechos humanos. Aunque se han hecho avances significativos en el marco normativo, muchos adolescentes aún enfrentan un sistema de justicia que, en ocasiones, perpetúa ciclos de violencia y exclusión social. Además, los programas encaminados a atender a esta población a menudo carecen de recursos adecuados y de un enfoque integral. La falta de seguimiento y evaluación de estas iniciativas limita su capacidad para generar un impacto positivo a largo plazo. Por tanto, el objetivo de este artículo es llevar a cabo un análisis crítico del marco normativo y de los datos estadísticos disponibles, con el fin de abordar de manera efectiva las necesidades de las personas menores de edad en conflicto con la ley. ¿En qué medida las políticas actuales están alineadas con las realidades sociales que enfrentan las personas menores de edad? ¿Qué papel juega la comunidad en la reintegración de estos adolescentes y cómo se pueden fomentar colaboraciones más útiles entre diferentes sectores?
