Likewise, international organizations such as UNESCO (2021) and the OECD (also in 2021) emphasize the importance of digital inclusion and acquiring related skills. Meanwhile, the World Economic Forum (2020) highlights the need for employees to be trained in technology-related topics.

Una revisión sistemática de la literatura revela brechas significativas en la adopción de la inteligencia artificial, donde las corporaciones más grandes, que están mejor equipadas en términos de tecnología y finanzas, tienden a beneficiarse más de estas innovaciones. Por el contrario, las pequeñas y medianas empresas (PYMES) y las áreas de bajos ingresos experimentan barreras que les privan del acceso. Tales desigualdades tienen efectos adversos en la equidad laboral, ya que los trabajadores en profesiones con poca adopción de la IA están cada vez más sujetos a las amenazas de precariedad y desempleo.
