Simultaneously, I will suggest the epistemic and political alternatives that are present in Trilce, with the aim of broading the framework of the Agambenian reflection. As a critique of the metaphysical conceptualization of language, Trilce would qualify as an excellent case in which the language’s potency is manifest. By appealing to new readers, Trilce’s performative force represents a new beginning, an event that responds to the novelty of its new word.A grandes rasgos nos proponemos seguir la indicación del filósofo italiano Giorgio Agamben y explorar, a partir del marco de su «poética de la inoperosidad», la epistemología de Trilce. Intentaremos, pues, hacer visible la recepción de Vallejo en el pensamiento político y estético del autor italiano y, paralelamente, sugerir otras posibilidades epistémicas y políticas presentes en el poemario de 1922, con el fin de ampliar el marco de la reflexión agambeniana. En tanto crítica de la concepción metafísica del lenguaje, Trilce sería un preclaro ejemplo de liberación de las potencias de la lengua.
