This in order that, as this is a cult building, currently considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it generates a new perspective of society with respect to the use that is given to it and the streets that surround it.El presente artículo abordará la tradición «El rosal de Rosa», que forma parte de las Tradiciones peruanas, obra representativa de Ricardo Palma. Nos enfocaremos en la importancia de estudiar los monumentos históricos, como el que se presenta en dicha tradición, el Santuario de Santa Rosa de Lima. Ello en el sentido de que, al ser esta una edificación de culto, actualmente considerada patrimonio de la humanidad por la Unesco, genera una nueva perspectiva de la sociedad con respecto al uso que se le da y a las calles que la rodean.
