Inter and multidisciplinary research work carriedout during these years has enriched the methodology for archaeoarchitecturalstudy, thanks to each researcher’s particular focus. In this contribution I describe mymethodology proposal for the study of Archaeoarchitecture and its contributions,conceived as an architectural specialisation, related to the record, study anddissemination of the cultural values of archaeological buildings. I discuss newmeasuring data collection and analysis instruments, that allow for more accurate, fastand efficient studies of design patterns, geographical and astronomical alignmentsin extensive monumental complexes.Las obras arquitectónicas monumentales de la antigüedad son el testimonio de lasnecesidades de sus constructores y de sus épocas. El estudio de estas obras nos acerca acomprender las prioridades de sus valores culturales y sus alcances técnicos y artísticos,muchos de los cuales son valiosos y aplicables en la arquitectura moderna. Durante eltrabajo de las investigaciones inter y multidisciplinarias realizadas en estos años,3 lametodología del estudio arqueoarquitectónico se ha ido enriqueciendo con el enfoquepropio de cada investigador.
