For this, the main contributions of the representatives who appeared as central figures are enunciated and described, as well as the pioneering works that stood out in the three great moments of said studies, from the first inquiries to the theoretical proposals developed within the European universities and AngloAmerican. On the other hand, it explores the academic debate that took place around the relations between law and literature during the second half of the 20th century and examines the central aspects of the primary intersections known as: Law in Literature, Law as Literature and Law of Literature. La presente investigación realiza un repaso histórico y conceptual del Movimiento Derecho y Literatura en sus orígenes anglosajones. Para ello, se enuncian y se describen las principales aportaciones de los representantes que aparecieron como figuras centrales, así como las obras pioneras que destacaron en los tres grandes momentos de dichos estudios, desde las primeras indagaciones hasta las propuestas teóricas desarrolladas al interior de las universidades europeas y angloamericanas. Por otro lado, explora el debate académico que se sostuvo en torno a las relaciones entre el derecho y la literatura durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX y examina los aspectos centrales de las intersecciones primarias conocidas como derecho en la literatura, derecho como literatura y derecho de la literatura.
