For this, we collected data from clinical histories from 2004 to 2014of dogs attended in this district. We analyzed and compared the sex, age and race of the animal along with the presence ofdermatitis. Out of 5968 medical histories, 1584 (26.54%) were positive for dermatitis. According to our data the highestnumber of cases reported in the classifi cation was dermatitis due to infectious agents with a total of 1144 cases (72.22%).Secondly, immunological dermatitis was found in 200 cases (12.62%) and, thirdly, there was allergic dermatitis seen in188 cases (11.86%). As for breeds, mixed-type canines had higher numbers of cases of dermatitis (20.45%) than purebreeds. Th e most aff ected age group corresponded to adult dogs, with 76.76% of cases.Las dermatitis son una de las dolencias más comunes en la práctica diaria en nuestro medio y afectan en gran númeroa la población canina. Se determinaron los tipos de dermatitis canina que más se presentaron en la consulta diaria entres clínicas Veterinarias del Distrito de Mirafl ores, Lima, Perú. Para esto se recopilaron datos de las historias clínicascomprendidas entre los años 2004 al 2014 de caninos atendidos en este distrito. Se analizó y comparó también el sexo,edad y raza del animal con presencia de dermatitis. De un total de 5968 historias clínicas; 1584 (26,54%) fueron positivasa dermatitis. El grupo con mayor cantidad de casos reportados en la clasifi cación fue dermatitis por agentes infecciososcon un total de 1144 casos (72,22%). En segundo lugar, se ubicó la dermatitis inmunológica con 200 casos (12,62%) yen tercer lugar, están las dermatitis alérgicas con 188 casos (11,86%). En cuanto a razas, el canino tipo mestizo presentóel mayor número de casos de dermatitis (20,45%) frente a caninos de raza.
