The article reviews how poetry can help improve the quality of writing, oral expression, and how it can help promote creativity and detach us from the automatisms of our attention. In addition, it reviews how poetry can play a fundamental role in survival within the hostile environment of the field of law. Finally, it discusses how poetry may offer tools for dealing with the unknown and exploring areas in which we lack training, as they quickly become elementary in a world that has been transformed into a large question mark. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo promover la integración de las obras literarias en los primeros años de la educación jurídica con el objetivo de formar mejores profesionales del derecho. Se discuten las razones y las formas en que estas disciplinas pueden integrarse con un enfoque particular en la contribución de la poesía. El artículo revisa cómo la poesía puede ayudar a mejorar la calidad de la escritura, la expresión oral y cómo puede ayudar a promover la creatividad y separarnos de los automatismos de nuestra atención. Además, repasa cómo la poesía puede jugar un papel fundamental en la supervivencia dentro del entorno hostil del campo del derecho. Finalmente, discute cómo la poesía puede ofrecer herramientas para lidiar con lo desconocido y explorar áreas en las que carecemos de capacitación, ya que rápidamente se vuelven elementales en un mundo que se ha transformado en un gran signo de interrogación.
