Scientific and technological advances are increasing rapidly and affect our lifestyle, our knowledge and potential as human beings. In this direction, the moral, political organization and the various positions of human groups and societies, could halt the advance of science, but science is humanized, it may be necessary to reform the legal regulations and rethink the ethical principles we approach the scientific knowledge. Euthanasia is not a new phenomenon, has always reflected and is an important theme in the life of peoples. People suffering from terminal illnesses, scientists from the natural sciences give them as lost, non-life recover in a short time. Human wisdom with new technologies, new product knowledge and study efforts brainy demonstration and fortified positions appears. The struggle for life is a constant of every human being, But, when it becomes aware of irreversible cases, we started thinking about life itself. Can you use science to reinforce or transform the legal regulations and in turn, the legal regulations, can help to effectively extend scientific knowledge, rather than hinder it? Issues of this nature addresses precisely the new field of legal philosophy today.El presente artículo está dirigido a los interesados en el campo de la Bioética y el Derecho, ya que, la vida moderna presenta múltiples retos. Los avances científicos y tecnológicos se incrementan velozmente y repercuten en nuestra forma de vida, en nuestro conocimiento y potencialidades como seres humanos. En este rumbo, la moral, la organización política y las diversas posiciones de los grupos humanos y las sociedades, podrían frenar el avance de la ciencia, pero si la ciencia se humaniza, tal vez sea necesario reformar la normatividad jurídica y replantear los principios éticos que nos acercan al conocimiento científico. La eutanasia no es un fenómeno nuevo, siempre se ha reflexionado y constituye un tema importante en la vida de los pueblos. Gentes que sufren de enfermedades terminales, que los científicos de las ciencias naturales los dan como perdidos, sin ánimo de recuperar la vida en un tiempo corto. Aparece la sabiduría humana con sus nuevas tecnologías, nuevos saberes producto de sesudos y esforzados estudios puestos en demostración y enriquecidos. La lucha por la vida es una constante de todo ser humano. Pero, cuando se toma conocimiento de casos irreversibles, iniciamos la reflexión acerca de la vida misma. ¿Se puede recurrir a la ciencia para reforzar o transformar la normatividad jurídica y a su vez, la normatividad jurídica, puede ayudarnos a ampliar de manera eficaz el conocimiento científico, en lugar de entorpecerlo?
