For this reason, in order to draw new conclusions, it is necessary to carry out an analytical revision of the text using multiple tools that externalize the conflicts surrounding these elements. Therefore, the orientation of the present work will cover those objectives. After a deep literary analysis, we will apply the concepts of yanantin, tinkuy and wakcha around the data obtained to evidence the roots that give shape to the problematic of identity suffered by the protagonist. Pese a su reducida extensión, «Ángel de Ocongate» (1982), de Edgardo Rivera Martínez, es un relato singular: presenta elementos andinos que se encuentran en estado de transculturación. Debido a ello, a fin de extraer nuevas conclusiones, es necesario efectuar una revisión analítica al texto utilizando múltiples herramientas que exterioricen los conflictos que rodean a dichos elementos. Por tanto, la orientación del presente trabajo cubrirá aquellos objetivos. Tras una profunda inspección literaria, aplicaremos los conceptos de yanantin, tinkuy y wakcha en torno a los datos obtenidos para evidenciar las raíces que dan forma a la problemática de identidad que sufre el protagonista.
