From the research it is concluded that complex thinking and the Sciences of Complexity, by being more open to epistemological and ontological diversity, by taking into account the close interrelation, interdependence and co-dependence between human beings and Nature, by highlighting from organicism the living character of the planet in cosmic relation, offer solid arguments that support the Rights of Nature. Although the Rights of Nature imply legal protection, with the State as guarantor of rights, the issue goes beyond this because what is at stake is the recognition of the intrinsic value of life in all its manifestations, beyond even sentience. It is simply the recognition of the community of life to which we all belong, and therefore we demand conviviality, respect and reciprocity.El presente artículo de reflexión trata de la complejidad y los Derechos de la Naturaleza. Busca responder a la pregunta ¿Cómo la complejidad aporta a la sustentación de los Derechos de la Naturaleza? Para el efecto se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica especializada. De la investigación se concluye que el pensamiento complejo y las Ciencias de la Complejidad al estar más abiertos a la diversidad epistemológica y ontológica, al dar cuenta de la estrecha interrelación, interdependencia y codependencia entre el ser humano y la Naturaleza, al poner de manifiesto desde el organicismo el carácter vivo del planeta en relación cósmica, ofrecen sólidos argumentos que sustentan los Derechos de la Naturaleza. Aunque los Derechos de la Naturaleza implican protección legal, con el Estado como garante de los derechos, el tema va más allá porque en el fondo lo que está en juego es el reconocimiento del valor intrínseco de la vida en todas sus manifestaciones, más allá incluso de la sintiencia.
