The population is composed of 56 teachers working in the public educational institutions of UGEL 03 and the sample, having a 95% confidence level, is composed of 50 teachers. In addition, for the educational management variable, a questionnaire consisting of 21 items was applied, measured with an ordinal Likert-type scale, presenting a high reliability because the Cronbach’s Alpha value is 0.939. Likewise, for the teacher performance variable, a questionnaire consisting of 20 items was applied, measured with an ordinal Likert-type scale, presenting a high reliability because the Cronbach’s Alpha value is 0.890. It is concluded that there is a direct and significant relationship between the two variables studied and between the dimensions of educational man agement and the teacher performance variable.El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre la gestión educativa y el desempeño docente en instituciones educativas públicas de la UGEL 03 de Lima Metropolitana. La investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y corte transversal. La población está compuesta por 56 docentes que laboran en las instituciones educativas públicas de la UGEL 03 y la muestra al tener un 95% de confianza, se compone de 50 docentes. Además, para la variable gestión educativa se aplicó un cuestionario que consta de 21 ítems, medido con escala ordinal, de tipo Likert, presentando una confiabilidad alta porque el valor de Alfa de Cronbach es de 0.939. Asimismo, para la variable desempeño docente se aplicó un cuestionario que consta de 20 ítems, medido con escala ordinal, de tipo Likert, presentando una confiabilidad alta porque el valor de Alfa de Cronbach es de 0.890.
