However, the richness of his literature also has an impact on the legal world. This article aims to unravel the conception of law in Animal Farm (1945). After a hermeneutic study, law is identified as an instrument of power used for the benefit of the few. The work generates a rupture in the way of conceiving law as a set of rules whose ends are the common good and justice, thus discovering the relationship of law with the will of those who hold power.En los círculos académicos, las obras de George Orwell han sido estudiadas desde diversas disciplinas por la forma de reflejar los peligros de las sociedades totalitarias y los mecanismos de control y vigilancia. Sin embargo, la riqueza de su literatura impacta también en el mundo jurí­ dico. Este artículo pretende desentrañar la concepción del derecho en la obra Rebelión en la granja (1945). Después de un estudio hermenéutico, se identifica al derecho como un instrumento del poder usado en beneficio de unos pocos.
