Esta regla (o precepto) es que el dinero no debería ser un concepto primitivo en la teoría monetaria, sino que su existencia y su valor deberían surgir a partir de una situación de equilibrio general. El artículo enumera cuáles modelos monetarios actuales cumplen con el precepto indicado y cuáles no lo cumplen.
