In this way, their position of disadvantage and social devaluation is reproduced.El objetivo de este artículo es describir los itinerarios terapéuticos en busca del cuidado de la salud y la rehabilitación de las personas con discapacidad de Argentina y Chile. Para ello, se presentan datos secundarios y se retoma parte de los hallazgos de dos investigaciones cualitativas independientes realizadas en estos países. Los resultados muestran que, en el recorrido de la búsqueda de su salud, las personas con discapacidad junto a sus familiares afrontan situaciones negativas para su bienestar, su participación social y su autoestima.
