El énfasis se da desde la elección de Alberto Fujimori como Presidente de la República. Asimismo, analiza la crisis del sistema partidario peruano (su existencia y el rol de los partidos políticos) así como los más graves problemas en los últimos años: hiperinflación y terrorismo.
