The second one is the water, a service sector that Peruvian Government has been reluctant to privatize, creating serious problems for an efficient management and the changes to improve the quality of the service.En este trabajo se analizan dos experiencias de regulación en el campo de los servicios públicos. La primera de ellas es la de la electricidad, en donde una parte importante de las empresas del sector han sido privatizadas y el servicio ha experimentado una notable mejoría.
