The Tarapacá ravine is located in the Atacama Desert inside the town of Huara, Tarapacá region, a series of towns are located there that share conditions that require analysis. The loss of architectural identity, which has been reflected over time in some associated factors such as: inadequate management of endogenous and exogenous material resources, ignorance of ancestral construction techniques, contextual disconnections, environmental and sociocultural difference, are associated significantly with the loss of Cultural identity and consequently the architectural language as an expression of the architecture of these towns. To carry out this study, a series of sheets validated by experts and surveys were prepared that were applied to the inhabitants of the towns, graphic and planimetric background of cases, photographic records of the place, as well as results and conclusions revealed by the investigation. From this study resulting from the master's degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development, it is important to innovate in the project and conceptual exercise with a qualitative analysis approach of variables to be applied when discovering from observation and experience in the territory, to contribute and try to reverse this loss of identity.
