The objective is to analyze the impact of therapeutic gardens on this population, exploring the natural environment, health and well-being benefits, and the design principles of therapeutic gardens. The study examines how physical, interpersonal, and emotional dimensions’ influence quality of life. Using a descriptive and qualitative methodology, observation forms, analogous cases, and expert interviews are employed. The results show that therapeutic gardens in Chorrillos contribute to improving mobility, reducing stress and promoting socialization among older adults, benefiting them physically and emotionally, especially in people with senile dementia and chronic diseases.La investigación aborda el envejecimiento poblacional y la falta de infraestructura adecuada para mejorar la calidad de vida de los adultos mayores en Chorrillos, Lima. El objetivo es analizar el impacto de los jardines terapéuticos en esta población, explorando el entorno natural, los beneficios para la salud y el bienestar, y los principios de diseño de jardines terapéuticos, y se estudian cómo las dimensiones física, interpersonal y emocional influyen en la calidad de vida. Con una metodología descriptiva y cualitativa, se emplean fichas de observación, casos análogos y entrevistas a expertos.
