The intervention took a multidisciplinary approach, including the implementation of environmental and social safeguards, with the aim of resolving the problems identified in this archaeological complex. International documentation on heritage restoration and conservation was used as intervention criteria, resulting in the protection of the monument and the recovery of the original typology and spatial scheme, by means of restoration actions and the correct use of materials in the process. It is concluded that in order to guarantee the structural stability of the walls it is necessary to stop the causes of deterioration, by means of consolidation and restitution processes of the different structural components, as well as treatment with mineral consolidant and ethyl silicate in the adobe walls, being necessary the chemical protection and waterproofing of the mud plaster to avoid its degradationLa finalidad del presente estudio fue la intervención de Restauración en las Estructuras Prehispánicas del Conjunto Arqueológico de Huchuy Qosqo, ubicado en el Distrito y Provincia de Calca, en el departamento del Cusco; como parte del testimonio excepcional en su valor social, cultural y científico, mostrando el alto grado de desarrollado de la Cultura Inca en las diferentes muestras de manejo geográfico, topográfico y magnitud de obra con los recursos tecnológicos disponibles. La intervención asumió un enfoque de actividades multidisciplinarias, incluyendo la implementación de salvaguardas ambientales y sociales, con el objetivo de resolver problemáticas identificadas en este conjunto arqueológico. Como criterios de intervención se utilizó documentación internacional sobre restauración y conservación del patrimonio, obteniéndose como resultado la protección del monumento y la recuperación de la tipología y esquema espacial original, mediante acciones propias de la restauración y la correcta utilización de materiales en el proceso.
