Results: 89 students who completed the questionnaire were included. 95.5% reported experiencing feelings of nervousness and worry throughout the semester. Among these, 55 (64.7%) experienced severe stress, 20 (23.5%) moderate stress, and 10 (11.8%) mild stress. Conclusion: Students in the Public and Global Health and Health Administration programs at this Peruvian university experienced different levels of academic stress during the COVID-19 pandemic, with severe stress being the most common, followed by moderate and mild levels.Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de estrés académico en estudiantes de las carreras de salud pública y salud global, y de administración en salud, de una universidad peruana durante la pandemia de la COVID-19. Material y Métodos: Estudio cuantitativo observacional de tipo transversal, en una    población de 126 estudiantes del tercer y cuarto año de las carreras de salud pública y salud global y de administración en salud. Toda la población fue invitada a participar vía correo electrónico institucional. Los niveles de estrés académico se midieron utilizando el Inventario SISCO del Estrés Académico a través de Google Forms, previo consentimiento informado. Resultados. Se incluyeron 89 estudiantes que respondieron el cuestionario. El 95,5% había experimentado sentimientos de nerviosismo y preocupación a lo largo del semestre. De ellos 55 (64,7%) experimentaron estrés severo, 20 (23,5%) estrés moderado y 10 (11,8%) estrés leve.
