Descripción
Sumario:We report the case of a 46-year-old woman with no previous history who was attended for screening. Mammography revealed an ovoidal nodule of mixed density with well-defined borders in the right breast that had positive flow at the Doppler examination, highly suspicious of malignancy. An ultrasound-guided biopsy was performed, revealing neoplastic vascular proliferation compatible with low-grade angiosarcoma. A total right mastectomy was performed, and the patient is under follow-up evaluation with no evidence of recurrence. This report highlights the clinical presentation of an infrequent malignant breast neoplastic condition where the combination of images makes the diagnosis.
