Sumario:Objective: To determine the antimicrobial susceptibility of Streptococcus agalactiae (GBS) strains isolated between 2015-2020 in a mother-child hospital. Methods: Descriptive study carried out between 2015 and 2020. Antimicrobial identification and susceptibility were determined by the Vitek® 2 automated system. The database obtained was transferred to the WHONET version 5.6 program. 506 GBS isolates are included. Results: 500 (98.8%) were in women. The mean age was 31.9 ± 11.8 years. All were sensitive to penicillin, ampicillin and vancomycin, resistance to erythromycin, clindamycin and levofloxacin was 38.5%, 37.4% and 28%, respectively, showing a resistance peak in 2018. Conclusion: An increase in GBS resistance to antimicrobials was observed, especially in 2018
