Result: for hypothesis testing Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test with a significance level of 5% showed that 78% of respondents indicate a favorable level of knowledge of neuroscience, among the undecideds 16.7%. In conclusion, the existence of a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of neuroscience and the teaching performance of the Juan XXIII pedagogical institute of Ica was verified according to the statistical test X2 = 47,967 > X2 = 9,488 at a level less than 5% of standard significance (P < 0.05).La investigación inicia con la siguiente interrogante ¿cuál es la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento de la neurociencia y desempeño docente en el Instituto Pedagógico Público Juan XXIII de Ica?, el objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de la neurociencia y desempeño docente en el Instituto Pedagógico Público Juan XXIII, el enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño correlacional, la muestra 42 docentes, el instrumento encuesta y cuestionario, con consistencia estadística alfa de Cronbach 0,814 y 0,87, la validación y confiabilidad es la prueba de juicio de expertos estableciéndose la relación entre variables, dimensiones e indicadores. Se obtuvo la V de Aiken 0.88 para el cuestionario conocimiento de neurociencia y V de Aiken 0.904 para el cuestionario desempeño docente. En el resultado se realizó la contrastación de hipótesis con la prueba de normalidad de Kolmogórov-Smirnov con nivel de significancia de 5%, lo que permitió evidenciar que el 78% indica un nivel favorable de conocimiento sobre neurociencia y entre los indecisos 16.7%.
