In the hypothesis test, the Kendall Tau b statistician was used, among the main findings they show a value equal to 0.4, which shows the presence of a moderate relationship between teaching practice and autonomous learning, 0.468 determines the presence of a moderate relationship. relationship between teaching practice and academic habits, 0.248 indicates the presence of a low relationship between teaching practice and cognitive skills, 0.292 shows a low relationship between teaching practice and the ability to adapt in bilingual intercultural pedagogical higher education students. The results show that there is a moderate relationship between teaching practice, with autonomous learning and academic habits; but there is no significant relationship between teaching practice, with cognitive habits and adaptability in students.Esta investigación tuvo el propósito de conocer la relación entre la práctica docente y el aprendizaje autónomo en los estudiantes de educación superior pedagógica. Por ello, se realizó una investigación básica con diseño de investigación correlacional, con una población de 64 estudiantes, de los cuales se seleccionó una muestra de 26 estudiantes mediante la técnica de muestreo no probabilístico, en la recolección de datos se empleó la técnica de encuesta mediante el cuestionario. En la prueba de hipótesis se empleó el estadígrafo  Tau b de Kendall, entre los principales hallazgos  muestran un valor igual a 0,4 que evidencia la presencia de una moderada relación entre la práctica docente y aprendizaje autónomo, el 0,468 determina la presencia de una moderada relación  entre la práctica docente y hábitos académicos, el 0,248 indica la presencia de una baja relación entre la práctica docente y las habilidades cognitivas, el 0,292 muestra una baja relación entre práctica docente y capacidad de adaptación  en los estudiantes de  educación superior pedagógica intercultural bilingüe.
