This method despite the drawbacks noted, is the only one that allows the investigation of serial biological changes caused by the disease and its relation to pathological findings; It is the method currently used for therapeutic and toxic tuberculostatic assessment of new substancesLos caracteres de la tuberculosis experimental, no son estrictamente semejantes a la tuberculosis humana, contrastes de orden clínico y anatomopatológico son evidentes y ellos dependen, como es natural de la capacidad receptiva del animal de experimentación, de la cantidad de bacilos inoculados, de su virulencia, de la vía de inoculación y del conocimiento exacto del tiempo de la infección.
