According to this objective we have apl I ied the following procedure has been synthesized ligand 1-phenyl -3 - benzoylthiourea ( H2L ) , which has been characterized by anal y elemental sis, and IR spectroscopy , 1H - NMR , 13C NMR and mass spectrometry . 1H NMR spectroscopy confirms the presence of a hydrogen bond between the proton type of CS- NH group and the oxygen of the CO group . Have synthesized two complexes of copper , the first complex of copper (I) corresponds to a stoichiometric ( 1: 1) [Cu ( I) - L ] n , which was prepared by direct reaction of an ethanolic solution of the ligand and copper acetate ( II ) in equimolar ratio , the second complex was synthesized by the electrochemical method , a Cu ( HL ) 2 stoichiometry . The complexes were characterized by IR spectroscopy , elemental analysis and by measurements of magnetic susceptibilityEn el presente trabajo se reporta algunos avances en la síntesis de complejos de cobre (II) con ligandos tipo benzoiltioureas monosustituidas , por el método electroquím ico. De acuerdo con este objetivo hemos apl icado el siguiente procedimiento : Se ha sintetizado el ligando 1-fenil-3-benzoiltiourea (H2L), el cual ha sido caracterizado mediante el aná li sis elemental , y las espectroscopia IR, 1H-RMN, 13C-RMN, y la espectrometria de masas. La espectroscopia 1H-RMN confirma la presencia de un enlace tipo puente de hidrógeno entre el protón del grupo CS-NH y el oxigeno del grupo CO. Se han sintetizado dos complejos de cobre , el primer complejo de cobre (I) responde a una estequiometria (1 :1) [Cu(I)-L]n , el cual fue preparado por reacción directa entre una solución etanólica del ligando y el acetato de cobre(II) en relación equimolar, el segundo complejo fué sintetizado por-el método electroquímico con una estequiometria Cu(HL)2 .
