Esta irritabilidad o suceptibilidad de especie (de la especia caviai cobaya) condiciona pues, en nuestro concepto, de manera fundamental la patogenia del "soroche", así como en el hombre es la suceptibilidad o irritabilidad individual la que hace unos más lábiles que otros para sufrir dicho mal.
