And the main task of the third Council is the importance given to the Catechism, Confession and SermonarioLos dos primeros Concilios Limenses establecieron, pues, los fundamentos de la iglesia en los Andes y determinaron las grandes orientaciones a seguir por todos cuantos profesan la fe católica. Los prelados y autoridades proclaman las normas por ser observados los indígenas que recibieran el bautismo, y se preocuparon por aquellos que aún no eran bautizados. Este intento de adaptación está re ejado en las normas dadas por el citado Concilio en la parte concerniente a la evangelización de los naturales.
