This article examines Guaman Poma’s assessment of the administration of justice in the Andean world in his work’s “Primer capítulo de la Justicia”. It looks into the implementation of punishment and its consequences on the individual’s social place in the Andeancommunity. Through the topics of justice and punishment, and the author’s narration of his journey to Ciudad de los Reyes (Lima) in the chapter “Camina el autor”, I observe an Andean version of ostracism:a physical seclusion with possibilities of integration and the social condemnation of a wakcha (orphan) due to the lack of reciprocity and the spiritual exile. In addition, the author’s spiritual ostracism is his own sacrifce to bring justice to the Andean world.La Nueva corónica y buen gobierno apunta un mundo “al revés” en el que la justicia no mantiene equilibrio en el mundo andino. Este ensayo estudia cómo en el “Primer capítulo de la Justicia” Guaman Poma realizauna valoración de la administración de justicia en el mundo andino y cómo la implementación de condenas afecta el lugar social del individuo en la comunidad. Rastrea entonces los temas de la justicia y castigos, así como la narración del viaje del autor a la Ciudad de los Reyes en el capítulo “Camina el autor” como una versión andina del ostracismo. Entiendo ostracismo como la reclusión física con posibilidades de integración y la condena social del wakcha (huérfano) a través de la negación de la reciprocidad.
